A beautiful white dove, it symbolizes peace. Peace is everyone would want in their life, like me. Now in my young mind I know that our country Philippines never had its peace because rebellion. It made me think and ask myself what should I do? I come up thinking that I should act now.
For me I can act of being a good citizen that may lead to a peaceful life. i can act of being a good leader who listened to the needs of other people and to give kindness, hospitality, and love to those people who are in need, with the guiding spirit of our Creator and it would serve as my gift that comes from the bottom of my heart.

We all know that now a days Garbage are one of the problem in our country that causes pollution. In my own little way I can do at home, or school to trash my waste is to segregate carefully the non- biodegradable from biodegradable. By separating the papers, plastics and the waste that would decomposed and to pick up pieces of garbage that are scattered in our environment. And also I wold recycle the garbage and make it a useful one,in that way from that garbage that you recycle your not only helping mother nature to be preserve but on the other hand you earn money.

The people that influenced my life since I was born in this world until in what I am right now are my parents, sister, brother and family who are always there for me in all the decisions that I made, they are there to care, to love, support, guides me in the right path and they never fades to share everything they had. Then my friends, who are there when I had problems, sharing with me in times of happiness and loneliness.
Lastly are my teachers, who are there for us, never tired of giving and sharing to us there knowledge and moral supports. They acts as our second parents when we are in school and never fade to give there motivations, and concerns and they treat us as their own child.

Transformer- is made of coils, is quite hefty for it's size. The coils increase or decrease the voltage according to it's specifications. Transformers are rated in VA (volt-ampere). This is not the same as a watt, which is normally what is used to rate your appliances.

Step- Up Transformer: it is a transformer used to raise voltage output from a power plant generator for a long- distance transmission.
Step- Down Transformer: it is a transformer with a less loops in the secondary than that in the primary.

What are the appliances that Uses transformer?

The appliances that uses transformer are radios, CD players, shavers, battery rechargers, computer printers, fax machines, televisions, answering machines, and fluorescent lamps.

The current in the primary coil has to keep on changing with time for current in the secondary coil to be induced. Thus in alternating current in the primary is ideal, although pulsating DC may be used. In alternating current in the primary coil, a continues induced current which is also an alternating one, is drawn from the secondary coil. While the induced voltage in a generator depends on the number of loops in the armature. The induced voltage in the secondary coil depends on its number of loops. If greater induced voltage is desired, then there should be fewer loops. The ratio of voltage in the primary coil to the induced voltage in the secondary coil equals the ratio of the number of loops in the primary coil to that in the secondary coil.

It's Unbelievable?

As I read the said article,which is all about a student who accepts $32,000 bid for her virginity. I couldn't imagine it, a girl or a lady who would sell her virginity just to earn money just to pay her tuition fees. It is very unbelievable! She made a big sin, because she didn't follow the law of God that said; "Take care of your body because it is Holy".

There are many ways to earn money. You can be a working student or make a projects or crafts to earn money instead of selling your virginity. The girl made a big decision. I cannot blame her, maybe she made it for the sake of her education. Maybe also she did that because education is very important to her, but she lost a very important part of her life, her pride and her womanhood. She never thinks on what consequences would happened after she do it. It is horrifically sad, because she lost a very important thing in her life that cannot be replace anymore.

Ever felt like you were being eliminated before the game even got started? Jesus could have felt that way. He was born with a purpose. He was about to take it on, and God his father had just spoken from heaven validating that purpose . Then WHAM! The next thing he knew, all hell broke loose- literally- and he was tempted to take the short route to fame and fortune. He was even tempted to doubt who he was.

What would you do? Temptations is calling you to do something you know is wrong. Others pressure you to go along with it. Would you give in? You don't have to. Get to know God's plan for your life. Then stand firm for what you know is right and watch God send in some reinforcement to help!

Injustice!

Lots of things in life are not fair. Maybe your parents' marriage has fallen apart. Or one of them is living away from the family in order to earn more money, Maybe you've lost a parents' through death. Is there alcoholism or some other addiction in your home? Has someone you love been victimized by the corruption and greed of others?

Circumstances like these leave you feeling like there's no way out and no one to understand your hurts and confusion, But,the fact is, God cares. He sent Jesus to show you his love and he sent his Holy Spirit to be your wise counselor, your constant companion, and your source of comfort.

Because of the presence of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was able to reassure his followers that no matter what happened he would be with them and see them through any difficulty-- clear up to end! He makes the same promise to you.

Probably everyone who has ever lived wished that they could change at least one thing about themselves. Their nose, their height, their personality- something. Looks, money, possessions, popularity, they all have one thing on common: they're not guaranteed. Even of we have them, they're all temporary. When our self- worth relies on the outward aspects of our life, happiness and fulfillment will always be short lived. True worth can only be measured by seeing ourselves through God our Creator's eyes. How much value does he place on your life? Did you know that God loves you just much as he loves his own son Jesus? Jesus said that the reason he came to earth, was because he wants everyone would have the fullest life possible. Isn't that what you want? The fullest life possible! Another time he promised that when we make obedience to God our first priority, all of the things we need will be provided for us. God is all about success- including your success! Too often the standards for success are measured be the level of education we have attained, the amount of money we have in the bank, the size of our house or how much material possessions we own. Education is important; we should go for all that is available to us. And there's nothing wrong with a good job and wealth. But reality, it is how we treat others and what we do with our education and money that people will remember long after we are gone. True success can only be measured at the end of our lives by how we used what we had to serve society and honor God. This is only kind of success that can never be taken away from you.

Everyone of us have our own identities like me. I have also my identity. I am Donna M. Dionio a 16 years old young lady, that has many ambitions and dreams in life. I am very fun of watching movies, playing guitar, dancing, playing basketball, badminton, and also chess.

I am still studying at my high school years at Lupon Vocational High School. I am a very naughty, friendly, loving, caring and a very cheerful one. I value much my study, family, friends and everything around me. I treasure the things that makes me happy. I love being with my friends, sharing our knowledge, and also sharing the moment that we are together. I am also very open to those people who want to make friend with me. "Beyond the challenges and trials in our lives there is always a time to feel the happiness".

Right at this juncture, many people still doing things beyond their limitation that may result in hurting others feelings. Do you know why it still happen? Because many people still longing for something that will make their life much easier and they don't know that there's a right time to think, what would be happen. In fact their are people who are eager to full something, without any strength enough to get what they want.

Furthermore they were still limitation beyond the things they wanted. People born in a right time, they are the one who make their own journey on how to live their life to the fullness. We as a student, we can't deny that sometimes we also suffered in a difficult decisions because of our feelings. It' between relationship and studies. We as a teenager, we can't avoid making relationship or having commitment with our opposite sex and we are much away to call it boyfriend or girlfriend.

What would we choose, "Study or Relationship?". Well! well! well! I can't find mistakes in having commitment with others, but it's better to be fair between study and relationship. We should give much effort in our study because will arrive at the right place, at the right age and at a RIGHT TIME!

Islam, Ramadan, and Hajj

The Five Pillars of Islam:

1. Shahadah is a statement professing monotheism and accepting Muhammad as God's messenger. The shahadah is a set statement normally recited in Arabic "'ašhadu 'al-lā ilāha illā-llāhu wa 'ašhadu 'anna muħammadan rasūlu-llāh", translated as: "[I profess that] There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his Prophet."

2.Solat,is the second pillar of Islam , the requirement to pray five times a day at fixed times during the day. The times of day to pray are at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, sunset, and before you go to bed. Each salah is performed facing towards the Kaaba in Mecca. Salah is intended to focus the mind on Allah; it is seen as a personal communication with Allah, expressing gratitude and worship.

3. Zakat or alms-giving is the practice of charitable giving by Muslims based on accumulated wealth, and is obligatory for all who are able to do so. It is considered to be a personal responsibility for Muslims to ease economic hardship for others and eliminate inequality.

4.Sawm also known as SiyamThree types of fasting (Sawm) are recognized by the Qur'an: Ritual fastingis an obligatory act during the month of Ramadan. Muslims must abstain from food, drink, and sexual intercourse from dawn to dusk during this month, and are to be especially mindful of other sins. The fast is meant to allow Muslims to seek nearness to Allah, to express their gratitude to and dependence on him, to atone for their past sins, and to remind them of the needy.

5. Hajj is a pilgrimage that slamic teachers say that the Hajj should be an expression of devotion to Allah, not a means to gain social standing. The believer should be self-aware and examine their intentions in performing the pilgrimage. This should lead to constant striving for self-improvement.A pilgrimage made at any time other than the Hajj season is called an Umrah, and while not mandatory is strongly encouraged.occurs during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah to the holy city of Mecca, and derives from an ancient Arab practice. Every able-bodied Muslim is obliged to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime if he or she can afford it.

As I know, Islam is the second largest religion in the world that most non-muslim students know a little bit about it. They have many traditions or practices that they follows from their prophet Muhammad. Islam means acceptance of and submission to God, and believers must demonstrate this by worshiping him, following his commands, and avoiding polytheism. The word is given a number of meanings in the Qur'an. They believe to their God which is ALLAH. Some also says that their book which is the Qur'an is the continuation of the Holy Bible of the catholics. Ramadan is the one of the biggest event that our muslim brothers and sisters celebrates.Muslims believe it to have occurred on an odd-numbered night during the last 10 days of Ramadan, either the night of the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th (in Sunni thought) or the 19th, 21st or 23rd (in Shi'a thought). Ramadan ends with Eid ul-Fitr on the 1 of Shawwal, with much celebration and feasting. They went through fasting, all they do was to pray, and to ask forgiveness on the sins they had committed in the past, they also disciplines their selves not to commit sins. They pray five times a day, at 3:00 in the dawn, 12:oo at noon, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 in the afternoon and 12:00 at midnight. The Hajj is a pilgrimage that occurs during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah to the holy city of Mecca, and derives from an ancient Arab practice. It is also one of the five pillar of faith of the muslims. Every able-bodied Muslim is obliged to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime if he or she can afford it. It is is very expensive that's why only those our Muslim brothers and sisters that can afford can have the opportunity to go to Mecca to attend the Hajj. It is also the highest rank that a Muslim can be!

Self-Respect is a Many-Splendored Things....

Personally, I believed that the issue is not merely about keeping oneself a virgin or losing one's integrity for failing to do so. At the end of the day, the question that we need to ask ourselves is whether the choices we make are truly worth offering to God.

Our "barkada" has been through a lot of bouts and misunderstanding. Still, at the end of the day, the solid foundation overcomes all negative feelings. I learned that even small things should be addressed. You'd be surprised at the holes these small, kept stuff put in your friendship until the damage is beyond repair.

I've learned never hesitate telling friends what they need to know even for fear of hurting them or our relationship reaching the finish line. If you truly believe in what you have, there's nothing to worry about. Friends are angels (with a devilish grin) sent here annoy us, to give us assurance when we are in doubt, shout us when we covers our ears against harsh truth, tell us what we need to hear, laugh us when we fall down, yet help us stand up and support us when no else would there for us.

Very Nervous Day!

When I woke up this morning, I welcome the day with a smile on my face, even if I feel very nervous because this day is the deadline of our presentation in our English subject. I stretch my body and do my daily routine every morning. I take a bath and eat my breakfast.

As I am on the way going to school, I am praying that our presentation would be successful and I ask God to guide me in all the activities that we will encounter this day. When I arrived at our classroom, I immediately took out my copy and start to memorized it. Our teacher in English told us to proceed to the ICT room for our final presentation.

When my name was called, I stood up, take a deep breath and do the task. As I continue to present my presentation I feel that my heart beats so fast but I ignored it. The lesson that I learned this day was we should always be confident, and trust in yourself so that you can deliver well your presentation.

At this moment, we are now a fourth year student. This year is the last year of our high school life. For us, it is not easy to say goodbye to our classmates, friends, teachers and co-students. Even though things are not so easy, we now cheerish every happy moments, memories, lauhgters, and tears in our high school life. But we shall thanks God because we overcome all the challenges that we encounter in the passed years. Now we are counting the days that we are leaving the portals of our Alma Mater.

Everything has it's limitation, if there's a beginning there's also an end. It is the end of our highschool life. And it's the new beginning to our new stage of new life that physically and mantally matured- "The College Life".

From their pont of view "premarital sex" is not really good to enter because it will ruined once life. Do you know why? Many teenagers now a days in our generation was pack by curiosity. Some of them says that life is useless without this thing that can make them happy just for being curious. But, the sad thing was many of them belongs to underage, they don't know that it may ruined or destroy their future and lives. If this said "premarital sex" continue doing by people, What would happen to our brothers and sisters in the future?

The Coolest Guy Ever!

One time of my life I meet the coolest guy. He is very very cool. He knows how to drive and how to deal with problems. He is a joke one, he struggle hard just to gain money for his wife and children. Even if he is strict sometimes I know he love us. He love to listened music, like me. He is very kind, caring, loving and helpful man.

But life has its end.... Last December 02, 2009, the coolest guy I've meet had left us in this world. He died cause of cardiac arrest. we all cried and his death was like a bomb that explode shockingly. Me and my family accept the reality that one of our beloved had passed away, even though it's very hard for us.

I've missed the times that he would ask me for a cup of coffee. I really missed it, but now I know inside my heart that the time God had gave to him was finally over. So I bravely face the reality together with my family that he had left us.

The coolest guy ever was not other than..... My Beloved UNCLE.

Same Sex Marriage?

Same sex marriage, what is this all about? we all know that nowadays, same sex marriage already existing in the Western Countries aproved by their Governments. From my information and opinions gathered, some says that same sex marriage is it is against the law of God, it can destroy morality and can make controversy.
Some says that according to the church, same sex marriage is not recognize by the pope, priests and pastors of different religions because it is a big sin to marry your same sex. And also according to the bible only man and woman can enter marriage life.But their are people who are infavor of same sex marriage because their reasons are their inloved with their same sex. For them it is a way that binds their happiness. They also insisted that they are right to live their life the way they want.

For me, as I heard about this same sex marriage all that comes to my mind was it just complicated. How about you, are you infavor of Same Sex marriage?
